We have three favorite ways to assemble our journals. My 7-year-old daughter’s favorite way is to use a report cover with a sliding binder bar (remember those from middle school)? This makes it easy for her to add and remove pages. My 9-year-old son’s favorite way is to put his Journal in a flexible binder. It’s a nice improvement on the typical hardback binder. For our 3 year old, I choose pages and add them to a clipboard for her to do alongside her siblings. I’ve also heard from moms who hang the pages up to display when they are complete – sometimes with cute clothespins or tacked to family cork boards.

Each Journal is geared toward a specific age group to keep kids engaged and provide an opportunity to “level up” their gratitude. I have a Masters in Teaching K-6, so I designed the pages based on my knowledge of what works in the classroom. I also have a 9 year old son, and daughters ages 7 and 2. They happily provided their input throughout the creation process (though the 2-year-old wasn’t much help!).

You can think of the KIDDOS Journal as geared toward Pre-K and early elementary school (approximately 4-7 years). The KIDS Journal is geared toward mid-elementary to early middle school (approximately 6-12 years). The TEENS Journal is geared toward pre-teens and teens {approximately 11-15 years}. It is highly likely that your children will find activities they like in the Journals above and below their age groups {which is why the BUNDLES are the most popular}.

Yes! Within your immediate family, you have permission to print and re-print the journal pages as often as you want. If you want to share the Journal with extended family, friends, or purchase for your classrooms or small groups, I ask that you reach out (erin@noticethelittlethings.com) and inquire about group pricing.

Unfortunately, I do not have a way to efficiently print and send you a copy of the Gratitude Journals at this time. If you don’t have a printer but have a friend or family member who can print for you, or if you have a printer at work, that will be your best option. These Journals will only work for your family if you have access to a printer (and then you can check out our favorite, creative ways to assemble your journals in the Family PLUS option with Guide to Success and Video Tutorials).
