LITTLE fine print
i blog because i love it. i love everything about the process and the craft of writing. i like to connect with other people and share ideas. the notion that i might be able to encourage other people to notice the LITTLE things puts a little sparkle in my step. i truly cannot wait for this noticing movement to catch on, and i am so glad you are here to help it along. as a blogger, i am putting myself and my thoughts out there. sometimes this is simply for the love of writing, other times, it’s because i have stumbled upon something i think might in some way make someone else’s life a LITTLE brighter. because of this whole putting myself out there, there are a few LITTLE things i’d like to mention.
LITTLE disclosure policy
in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s {FTC} revised guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials in order to protect the public from any intentionally errant or misleading advertising that has been paid for by a group or company, i am disclosing that this blog may occasionally include endorsements, testimonials, or affiliate links, and i’d like you to be sure of the following LITTLE things ::
- the content of this blog is a source of income for my family and may sometimes be used to promote products, services, or other businesses, but i will never do so unless i firmly believe in what i am writing.
- i will only choose to discuss products, services, and businesses that i myself have used and that i feel have the potential to benefit my readers. at times, i may provide links to similar products, if the exact products i’ve used cannot be found. i will do my best to note this in the post.
- free products given to me by advertising partners for my review do not guarantee a positive review of the product. i will always be honest in my experience with any product i discuss, free or otherwise.
- references to associated products, services, business, or affiliate links within a post may or may not be noted as an affiliate in every reference. truthfully, this can detract from the readability of a post and make it hard for you, the reader. please trust my judgment on this and know that i always have your best interests in mind.
- most often, i will talk about a product just because it is something i use and like, not because i have any relationship with its source. i’m not that popular. whether or not i have partnered with a product, you can trust that i will give my honest opinion in regards to my experience with that product.

LITTLE comment policy
when i was in sixth grade, my science teacher told my mom that i was kind. my mom was pretty pleased given that the typical feedback from past teachers was she talks too much. my mom told me that she strived as a parent to teach us to be kind. my teacher’s comment made her feel like she had succeeded just a LITTLE bit. this is the same thing i desire for my children. i want them to be kind, always, and in every situation. so when you’re posting comments on the LITTLE things, please remember what my {and probably your} mom always wanted. be kind.
