LITTLE daily lists

love you construction paper

1.  keven and E surprising me with “happy birthday” starbucks and a carwash first thing, and K not wanting to go because she is terrified of the carwash.

2.  my sister emailing me a starbucks gift card to treat myself today. so thoughtful!

3.  sitting on the porch with my whole family, sipping coffee, and enjoying the beautiful day.

4.  mindless shopping with my mom and friends.

5.  a whole clearance room at my favorite store.

6.  coming home from shopping to this “love you” sign and a birthday scavenger hunt from the kids.

7.  listening to the kids play well together as i worked at my computer.

8.  our neighbor josie watching the kids outside so us adults could work together on a project.

9.  chocolate strawberries sent by my friend stephanie.

10.  wearing a new dress.

11.  rooftop seating, dinner for two, and keven writing the sweetest birthday LITTLE things list. i promised him i would share it. so if you want to see it, it is below.

12.  my parents stopping by because my dad loves to see his kids on their birthdays, and my new mother mary alex and ani bracelet.

In honor of her birthday, here are the LITTLE things I love about Erin…

1) Her selflessness and dedication to our family.

2) How she does such an amazing job raising our kids – every minute is a teaching moment with Erin around!

3) How she tries so hard to be spontaneous with plans. She’s a planner so it doesn’t come naturally.

4) Her upbeat and positive outlook on life – it’s infectious and I think one of the qualities people love about her best.

5) Her crazy morning hair…hot!

6) Her strong faith – I’m thankful to have a great teacher.

7) Her love of simple things in life. It doesn’t take a lot to make her happy and content.

8) Her love of sweets! It’s always easy to find a late night Graeters partner.

9) How she tries so hard to be a sports fan cause she knows I love it. Again, doesn’t come naturally when she spent her childhood growing up in a house with girl to guy ratio being 5 to 1. I feel your pain Joe. Go Titans!

10) No matter what kind of restaurant I take her out to she always seems to end up ordering a sandwich. Again revert back to number seven. Reminds me the story my sweet grandmother GAMMY used to tell of her ordering jello everytime my grandpa PAPA took her to dinner.
