1. driving to south bend to see my cousin and remembering all the landmarks from when we made this drive as kids. this time, our own kiddos’ excitement was reminiscent of ours all those years growing up. my heart was smiling.
2. aqua coffee cups!
3. watching the kids at notre dame story time. so excited to read and sing and dance. they totally get the LITTLE things.
4. sitting around the table and talking.
5. my mom coming with us on the road trip and getting to catch up in the car.
6. kids that are at good traveling ages.
7. using q-tips as paint brushes to decorate paper easter eggs.
8. the way kids always have to walk on a ledge or a wall instead of the sidewalk.
9. pulling back into our own driveway.
10. wearing my new super soft floral print pajamas to a mixed response – keven thinks they look like grandma pajamas, K thinks they are beautiful and asked me to wear them every night. ha!
