1. hiccups. i’ve had them for months {and with both of my other pregnancies}. and they are kind of funny.
2. having keven home. after a couple hours of contractions, i had to call him in the middle of the night on sunday {he was in Los Angeles on business}. i wasn’t sure what our plan should be. without hesitation he booked a flight home. it wasn’t an easy decision, lots of logistics, but putting family first always feels like the right decision. this and other things i’d like to remember about pregnancy #3 here.
3. long dresses.
4. walking E to the bus stop in the morning and how all the kids there still say bye and give hugs and kisses to parents, even the older ones.
5. fixing K’s hair in the morning. because she doesn’t mind it and it gives us a calm second together before she leaves.
6. talking with my two-year-old nephews because they talk like adults and it’s funny to have a normal conversation with a two year old.
7. taking a walk as the sun goes down.
8. K turning off a show she was watching to voluntarily help me with dinner.
9. everything fall.
10. E raking the 13 leaves we have in our front yard, trying to make a pile.
