1. my big kids’ insistence on wearing shorts/skirts, even though it’s still in the 60’s.
2. the greenest grass, everywhere, and finding the most perfectly blue robin’s egg nestled there on the way to the bus stop.
3. when a big truck pulls up to the house to deliver a package. i know, i probably PAID for that package, but there’s still something about it that’s fun.
4. fresh bedding on everyone’s bed, all at the same time, a rarity.
5. sitting on the porch with neighbors. and realizing as i type this that the porch for me is equivalent to wearing shorts for my kids. if it’s 60, it’s porch weather!
6. C’s new pink carseat. i have always purchased neutral items for my kids because they are easier to pass down. but the pink carseat was on sale and ours expired…so pink and GIRLY it is!
7. watching E and K walk into school together for fit club.
8. watching the beginning of the ellen show and laughing out loud. i forgot how funny that show is!
9. counting down the days till may 1st when i will buy flowers for our front garden {and hopefully keep them alive!}.
10. neighbors who know about flowers and can help me keep them alive.
