1. happy happy birthday to our dear, sweet, silly K {and in honor of her bday today’s LITTLE things will be about her}.
2. K’s crazy white-blond hair and the fact that she couldn’t care less what it looks like, ever.
3. the way that she never sleeps with her head actually on the pillow.
4. the fact that even though we had a big {hand me down from our neighbors} pink and purple power wheel car waiting for K at the bottom of the stairs this morning, she ran straight to the two balloons i bought at the dollar store.
5. K’s courage to ride her first roller coaster at the zoo today {and the fact that in this case, her height paid off}.
6. the way K checks in constantly with E, asking him where he is, if she can play, and whether he will be coming with us when we go somewhere.
7. the way she never, ever puts the lids back on the markers.
8. her love for daniel tiger and listening to her sings the songs from that show while she plays.
9. her absolute love of the birthday song and anticipation of a cupcake all to herself.
10. listening to K pretend like she is a mommy and use all the songs and phrases i use with her. melt. my. heart.
