1. singing happy birthday to Jesus.
2. K saying “i love it, i love it. it’s what i wanted. i love it. can i play with it?” over and over all morning long.
3. wrapping paper all over the place.
4. cinnamon rolls every year for our christmas breakfast.
5. the way it took absolutely forever for all of us to get it together to open presents at my parents’ house.
6. seeing my nephews after being out of town.
7. three events to look forward to today – our house, my parents’ house, and our long-standing dinner tradition with the betourne family.
8. watching someone open a gift you know they’re going to love.
9. our family ornament exchange.
10. not wanting christmas to end because the season is just so wonderful.
