1. when someone else puts the new toilet paper on the roll.
2. when you see your kids feeling important or awesome about something. E was wearing headphones for the first time today and i was just watching him feel grown up and confident in this new big kid thing he was doing.
3. drinking a whole glass of water, all at once, closer to my water goal for the day that is always so hard for me to reach.

10. going down to the basement to discover our whole new giant bag of chicken nuggets from costco next to the freezer. where they have been since monday. i considered being really annoyed at this. but then i thought, “well, at least it wasn’t that the whole freezer door was open {something i fear}.” sometimes, the LITTLE things, are just a matter of perspective.
