1. my former second grade teacher still editing my work after all these years (she let me know that i had accidentally written this blog as a .net address instead of .com on my facebook page).
2. the light pink gerbera daisies stephanie gave me yesterday.
3. giving someone the benefit of the doubt.
4. sunlight shining through tree branches.
5. keven yelling down “hi” to me every now and then when he is upstairs working.
6. looking up to discover you can see more stars than you’re used to.
7. praying every day on the way to work using a rosary i still have from my childhood friend kelly!
8. giving a movie a second chance (i liked mama mia much better this time around).
9. doing the dishes right away so you don’t have to think about them anymore.
10. missing children that are found safe and sound.
Some little things…
* Having a former 2nd grade student recognize you in Starbucks and stop and fill you in on her grown-up life and how she got there. 🙂
* Getting to see her mom as well.
* Hearing that she’s teaching, and loving it. Such lucky students!
* Becoming a follower of Erin’s delightful “little things”! So refreshing!

1. Finally taking the little things challenge and getting really excited for all of the “little followers”, but secretly wondering if I’m actually a follower? Did I sign up? (Did I have to?) Haha. 🙂
2. Packing for a trip you’ve been looking forward to for a VERY long time.
3. Wireless internet – so convenient.
4. GREEN grass in Denver. (Hard to come by.)
Here are mine so far today! I LOVE reading everyone’s so keep them coming!
1. Babysitting Macie today – when I got her out of her crib in the morning, the first thing she did was lean in for a kiss! So cute!
2. Lee leaving and then coming back with Starbucks hot chocolate and crumb cake for me!
3. Friends, the tv show. Quoting it at least once a day and repeating lines so that my mom cracks up!
4. Watching the Fresh Prince and catching a lot of references (both good and bad) that I didn’t get when I was younger.
5. Thunderstorms

we LOVE this and has generated a lot of smiles and thoughts – we have our own pad of paper out and are writing down our “little things” for you (and the list is growing rapidly). What a great way to start any day
