1. happy birthday to my father-in-law chuck, our kind, caring papa!
2. my neighbor mary bringing us “cotton candy grapes” today that really and truly taste like cotton candy!
3. playing in the sunshine.
4. sleeping in just a little bit later than usual.
5. the ease of having just one child right now instead of two and remembering when i used to think one was hard.
6. my dad stopping by for an impromptu visit on his day off.
7. holding a sleeping baby.
8. getting something out to the mailbox in time.
9. doing all those little things on my to do list that i usually just carry over to the next day.
10. going around the table to say our “special things” at dinner, especially when the kids are the ones who suggest we do it.
