1. it’s march. that means warmer weather soon and that makes me happy!
2. being out of town for the weekend and coming home to this perfectly shoveled driveway! we have the best neighbors!
3. all the smithsonian museums being FREE. this is a wonder to me and just amazing. if your kids have a meltdown 10 minutes in, you go home with no guilt having spent too much money (this didn’t happen to us but it could have!).
4. watching my kids with their cousins. pure joy and excitement. and remembering those times with my own cousins.
5. when the trip home actually feels shorter than the trip there.
6. marveling at our gammy’s 94 years and all her spunk.
7. all the tricks our dee dee always has up her sleeve for grandkid fun.
8. no bake energy balls and “baking” with the kids.
9. getting home.
10. opening my front blinds.
