1. both of our kids waking up at 4am for different reasons. this, in and of itself is not a LITTLE thing. however, my husband and i handling it together instead of just one of us was kind of nice.
2. falling back to sleep quickly.
3. when i can get the internet to work in the basement while i am on the treadmill.
4. reading my proverbs31 devotionals on the treadmill. i never thought they would be a better distraction than my dvr lineup but somehow they are!
5. my blue t-shirt with the outline of indiana that says “home.”
6. babysitters that say yes right away.
7. getting two compliments on a shirt i almost returned.
8. my new reusable starbucks cup that makes me very joyful for christmas {and all the silly hype surrounding this year’s starbucks’ christmas cup}.
9. meeting my friend jenny at starbucks tonight after the kids’ bedtimes. she’s the kind of friend who leaves you happier and more encouraged than when you arrived.
10. sitting on the couch with keven.

a 6-in-1 LITTLE things shopping trip
1. working from home and shopping on my lunch break
2. finding two things that have been on my “to buy” list for as long as I remember (cowboy boots and tall black riding boots)
3. discovering that not only were these things on sale, but things were on EXTRA sale – 25% off more!
4. using an expired coupon and the cashier still honoring (half of) it
5. saving more than I spent – always my goal!
6. in, out and back to my house in less than 20 minutes!
and to round out 10 for the day
7. parking in the garage – makes the car ride SO much warmer in the morning!
8. my daughter running to the back door at daycare to wave an extra goodbye and blow kisses to me. even though it’s sad to leave here, she’s always so excited to see me one more time before I go and I feel the same way. Plus, I know she loves it there!
9. my robot vacuum cleaning the house, which means I’m not cleaning it.
10. the dishwasher running. like #9, this means I’m not washing the dishes and that makes me VERY happy!
