1. happy birthday to my best friend and sister caitlin!
2. knowing ourselves well enough to aim to leave the house for the lake at 5:00pm when we don’t really need to leave untill 6:00pm. then actually leaving at 5:45pm and feeling ahead of the game.
3. labor day sales.
4. being at the start of a three day weekend.
5. surprising the kids with news we will be attending frozen on ice on monday.
6. dvd players for longer car rides.
7. keven always playing different songs for the kids to get them into music.
8. having over an hour in the car for keven and i to finally sort out our fall fun/work/travel calendars.
9. K’s cough finally improving with a dose of steroid. thank God for modern medicine.
10. power outages with your whole family – ordering pizza, playing games, and reading magazines by candlelight and the power coming on just in time for nothing to spoil in the fridge or freezer.
