LITTLE daily lists

1.  the wavy, undulating roofs on many florida houses that allude to warm weather and vacation.

2.  pulling into the driveway at the end of a workday.

3.  not one, not two, but THREE squirrels running in front of my car on the way to work this morning.

4.  sleeping in an extra half hour.

5.  being able to turn right on a red light.

6.  short cuts.

7.  happy birthday to my teaching partner jenn.

8.  my grandmother’s homemade icing recipe.

9.  licking the mixing beaters after making icing.

10.  keven letting me park in driveway all the time while he parks on the street.

    1. Someone calling my phone and asking for Jonathan, and me chuckling at the irony as I said “wrong number.”
    2. Getting a text from my roommate that said “I think you got flowers from your dad – is his name jonathan?”
    3. A beautiful yellow assortment of flowers from my fantastic fiance! (yellow is our wedding color)
    4. Having to explain to my roommate why the flowers were addressed to Jonathan.

    1. having a massive to-do and to-get ready for list and not knowing how you were going to make it through the next 5 days, but then DOING it!

    1. The song Honky Tonk Badonkadonk! It is so funny when you listen to the lyrics. “Lord have mercy, how she even get them britches on”!
    2. Realizing I get to watch the Season premiere of the Bachelorette with Erin – yay!
    3. Turning something in early!
    4. 12 more days of work until I get a break before school.
    5. Lists – they make me feel so organized
    6. Sparkly earrings that make an outfit look fancier.
    7. Baking
    8. Computer protectors (mine is Life is Good so it makes me happy when I see it!)
    9. Putting fake glasses on Macie and watching her think she is Miss ThAng! (I have a picture)
    10 a. 10 cents off a gallon at Kroger
    b. Kroger taking longer to raise their gas prices so feeling like I got SUCH a deal!

    1. amazing friends that wished me a happy b-day…all the messages, texts, and cards truly made my day!
    2. surprise cupcakes from my mom
    3. zumba class with friends
    4. dinner with my “sister-in-laws” and my parents
    5. laughing as Danielle ate my whole b-day dessert at carrabbas
    6. a new journal
    7. spending special areas eating a cupcake and talking with Erin (about non-school stuff)
    8. invitations to a first birthday (yeah for princess Nora)
    9. exploring minerals with my students
    10. leftovers from dinner…lunch tomorrow! 🙂
