the LITTLE things september 10th

LITTLE daily lists

morning walk

1.  ignoring all the excuses in my head and waking again before the kids. fitting in a workout and a jumpstart on the day. for more info on the book behind my morning motivation check out LITTLE elaborations on faith}

2.  joining a new group at church – MOMS – and K actually staying the whole time in the nursery without crying.

3.  using my new fun water bottle from my dad.

4.  accomplishing my new goal of not being rushed and late every time we leave to go somewhere.

5.  the costco double seated cart – both kids in and still room for groceries.  also the extra wide parking spaces at costco.

6.  a older man at costco stopping me to tell me the kids were very cute and i wouldn’t regret staying at home with them.

7.  giving each child half a churro to occupy them during our grocery trip.  best $1 i spent today.

8.  E coming down to tell me he had just scrubbed K’s toothbrush on the toilet.  where he got this idea, i will never know.  at first, it was not a LITTLE thing, but now i am laughing (since consequences were assigned and lessons were learned).

9.  sticking to our new (limited) TV watching plan with no complaints from the kids so far.

10.  the outside lights on the sides of our garage (and all the garages in our neighborhood) that come on automatically at dusk – they are actually really pretty to look at when you are walking or driving through at night.
