LITTLE daily lists

my dad

1. making a point to wake up before the kids all week to get a handle on my to do list and start the day being less rushed.

2.  eating breakfast with the kids instead of using the time to get morning chores done.

3.  E’s first day of school, first day of school pictures, and especially drop off (he did so well) and pick up (great report from his teacher).

4.  running errands with just K and having special time to ourselves, and the ease of getting only one child in and out of the car seat at each store.

5.  the trunk button on my key fob that magically opens the trunk.  this is a huge upgrade from my last car and one of my favorite things about my new {er} car.

6.  giving E an “assignment” for his first day to introduce an old friend {from last year} to a new friend {someone new to the class} this year and him being so excited to tell me that he did it.

6.  sitting after school in Mary’s house and getting through an entire chai tea together as the kids played around us.

7.  pumpkin chai.

8.  E choosing to go to grater’s ice cream for his first day treat and both kids’ excitement over cotton candy ice cream and sprinkles.

9.  my dad and all the LITTLE selfless things he does for our family. to read more about my dad, check out LITTLE elaborations on family.

10.  the first day of school under our belt!
